Giants' Lowry may be done for season

Lowry, who is on the 60-day disabled list, underwent surgery on his throwing forearm March 8 after being diagnosed with exertional compartment syndrome, where the forearm experiences high pressure which compresses the nerve.

The 27-year-old left-hander led the Giants in wins last season compiling a 14-8 mark with a 3.92 earned run average in 26 starts.

Lowry is 40-31 lifetime with a 4.03 ERA in 106 career games (100 starts), over parts of five seasons with the Giants.
