Bobcats visit City of Brotherly Love

Basketball Betting Lines

11/07/2007 - (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Philadelphia 76ers resume a four-game homestand when they host the Charlotte Bobcats this evening at the Wachovia Center.

The Sixers opened the stand with a 93-88 loss to the New Jersey Nets, as Andre Iguodala had 16 points to lead Philadelphia, which won by 11 points at Chicago the night before. Samuel Dalembert had 13 points and nine rebounds, while Kyle Korver contributed 11 points and Andre Miller added 12 in a losing cause.

Philadelphia will also welcome Toronto and New Orleans to the City of Brotherly Love on its current homestand.

Meanwhile, the Bobcats opened the 2007-08 with consecutive wins, but suffered a 115-83 home loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.

Rookie Jared Dudley came off the bench and led the team with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Raymond Felton scored 12 points before leaving in the third quarter with a left knee injury for the Bobcats, who failed in their quest to start a season 3-0 for the first time in franchise history.

Gerald Wallace also finished with 12 points for Charlotte, while Jason Richardson had 11 points after totaling 50 in his first two games. Richardson joined the Bobcats in a draft-day trade this summer.

Felton, meanwhile, is questionable for Wednesday's game in Philly. X-rays taken on his knee were negative and an MRI revealed no ligament damage. Felton averaged 22.5 points and 9.5 assists over the first two games this season.

The home team in this series has seven straight and nine of the last 10 meetings. Charlotte has dropped three in a row and five of the six encounters at the Wachovia Center.
